
Nagaland: Alobo School of Music organized a tribute to ABBA.“ABBA, A Tribute Night”, organized by Musik-A (Alobo School of Music), Chumu Branch, held on 16 July 2022 at Chumukedima Hall, Council Town as part of their summer recital. The school hosted its annual summer recital from July 11 to July 16, 2022.
In the 90-minute show, students from 3 years old to 18 years old came together and sang almost all the hits of the legendary group ABBA: Mamma Mia, Thank You for the Music, Super Tupper, Chiquita, Fernando, Take a Chance . me, I Have a Dream, Waterloo, the winner takes it all, Dancing Queen, GIME GIME, Andante, Angel Eye and many more.
Alobo Naga, the Director of Music-A School, in his welcome address, said the recital was just an extension of his classroom learning. He believes that every time a child goes on stage to perform, he learns how to face the audience, confidence and courage and also learns what to do and what not to do on stage.
This is why he always makes his recitals like a concert with a real audience. Most parents love ABBA songs, Naga said, so to entertain and appreciate the parents, they held an ABBA Tribute Night as a culmination of summer recitals.
The program Alobo School organized a tribute to ABBA, was graced by the promising upcoming leader Shri Z Kashito Yapthu Class 1 Contractor and Candidate for 2023 General Election from Ghaspani 1.
