Agartala: Reminding voters of Tripura of the alleged dark regime under communist and Congress rule, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Thursday urged voters to remove opposition party leaders from public office. Resign and hand over these duties to BJP leaders.
“The HIRA-Manik model of development, which has developed a double engine of growth, must be replicated to prevent a return to previous dark regimes,” Nadda said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised HIRA which stands for Highways, Internet, Railways and Airways. Today, Dr. Manik ji is at the helm of affairs that shapes the HIRA-Manik model. And, today’s gathering gives a good indication of what is to come in the coming elections,” the BJP national chief told a public gathering at the end of the BJP’s week-long Jana Biswas Yatra. He said while addressing.
The yatra covering all 60 assembly constituencies ended at Umakanta Maidan in Agartala, followed by 200 public rallies, 100 road shows and 50 foot marches. The two-leg rally by Union Home Minister Amit Shah from Sabroom in South Tripura and Dharmanagar in North Tripura can be seen as the ruling party’s biggest public outreach strategy ahead of the 2023 assembly elections.
Addressing a rally after a brief road show in Agartala city, Nadda said, “After BJP came to power, Tripura is writing a new story of development. Earlier this state was counted among the poor states. Less A state with less resources, less opportunities and less income; but today the story is completely different. BJP has emerged as the torchbearer of Tripura’s bright future. When we talk about the bright side of the story, we remember the dark days. We should not forget how CPIM and Congress exploited the state.
Turning his guns on the communists, he said, “When the communists were ruling Tripura, incidents of rape, strikes, blockades, and arson, political assassinations were daily headlines. On the other hand, today the railways, Highways, airways, connectivity and investment are part of the mainstream discourse. I am proud to say that not a single political assassination was reported from Tripura in the post Biplab Kumar Deb and Dr. Manik Saha eras.
Lauding the Tripura government, Dr. Saha said, “After the BJP came to power, the referral of patients outside Tripura has come down drastically. The health infrastructure is being improved. New hospitals and health centers are being built. Facilities are coming. The PDS system has been strengthened with additional essential commodities like sugar, pulses and soybeans. Edible oil and spices are also to be introduced in the public distribution system in the coming days. Scams and Far from corruption, Tripura is now a state that is on the path of development.
Urging voters to relieve the Congress and Communist leaders, he said, “The Congress and the Communists were so involved in corruption that they can now be tutored in developing new methods of corrupt practices. So I would like to ask the voters of the state to relieve him of any public responsibility and delegate the responsibility to those who sit on the dais.
The BJP national president also praised PM Modi and listed the achievements of the Union government in the last eight years. “Today, Tripura is connected to Rajdhani Express, seven national highways have been belatedly approved, and as many as six national highways are under construction. The long-standing problem of internally displaced Buro migrants has been solved. has gone and all our brothers and sisters are being settled peacefully. This is because if PM Modi is in the chair anything is possible.
