New Delhi: As Myanmar continues to be under siege by its military, which is bent on stifling civil unrest two years after the uprising, an anonymous Myanmar film collector is working to expose a group of local filmmakers. ۔ Crimes committed by the military through their work in films.

Deadline recently contacted a group to discuss their film, Myanmar Diaries, and civic movements.

Myanmar Diaries, a hybrid documentary fiction, is a joint venture that seeks to inform the audience about what has been happening in the country for the past two years.

Myanmar Film Collective recently spoke with the deadline before the premiere of ‘Myanmar Diaries’ at the Panorama program of the Berlin International Film Festival on 13 February.

He told Deadline: “We are very much looking forward to the international attention. We want to see. We hope that through our film we will be able to reach audiences around the world, but also lawmakers and politicians. We can show life. We show personal stories – about how the current violence affects our daily lives, and we show how much we all have to endure. ”

He said, “We are storytellers, we wanted to show this in our film, we want to express our pain and suffering. There is so much more happening in our film, there is so much more suffering.” We want the world to understand our struggle. We want the world to show solidarity with us. We want people to take action. We want accountability for the atrocities that the people are committing.

“We want responsibility from the international community, we want the people to stop supporting the army in any way it can,” he said. There are many people who have lost their homes, with a pile of war refugees on the Myanmar border. At the very least, sending aid would be a great help.
