Aizawl: Woman’s body recovered from rented house, suspected of indecency A 28-year-old woman was found dead inside her rented house in the town of Serchhip in central Mizoram, about 108km from the state capital Aizawl, on Sunday, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Rosangzuali, who was living with her husband and three children in the Farm Wang area, police said.
The deceased’s husband Zobiaksanga , 35, was taken into custody for questioning.

Police said Rosangzuali was first found dead on the floor by her neighbors, who reported the incident to police.

Police suspect indecency as the victim’s mouth and ears were bleeding. Blood stains were also found on the walls and door of the house, police said.

Police added that the matter is under investigation.
