Aizawl: Activists of Mizo Zarlai Paul (MZP), Mizoram’s apex and most influential student body, staged a protest in front of the Registrar Cooperative Societies office in Aizawl on Tuesday against the re-employment of a retired official under the state’s cooperation department. demonstrated recently.

MZP officials staged a dharna to prevent the official from coming to office on Tuesday.
However, the protesters dispersed when they learned that the official was on a three-day leave.
He said that the student body is strongly opposed to the re-employment of any retired official, without distinction or distinction, as it creates a barrier to opportunities for them.

Soon after the protest on Tuesday, the student body held an emergency meeting with its affiliates and decided to intensify its movement.
