Miss North East 2022 – Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya.

Shillong: Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya has won the title of Miss North East 2022.

Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya was crowned Miss North East during the finals in Kohima, Nagaland on Thursday.

A total of 14 contestants from eight northeastern states battled it out for the title.

It was the first ever Miss North East pageant, initiated by the North East Beauty Pageant Organization and presented by the Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN).
The competition was sponsored by the Government of Nagaland.

The winner received a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh along with gift hampers.
The next edition of the competition is scheduled to be held in Sikkim.
