Meghalaya:In Ampati 545 new members join BJP

Ampati: In a major boost to the BJP’s efforts to capture the TMC bastion of Ampti in South West Garo Hills (SWGH), at least 545 members of various political parties took part in a mass participation program in Ampati today. I joined the party.

The event took place in the presence of Union Minister of State (MOS) John Barla who visited the event where Deputy Speaker of Assam Dr. Numal Momin was also the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by the newly inducted former MLA, Ferlin CA Sangma, Benedic Marak, Assam BJP spokesperson, Rupak Goswami, Ampati election in-charge, Kishore Nath and other party members.
The induction program took place in Samati village and included ex-members of INC, NPP and AITC.

“We are extremely happy with the response the party is getting in Garo Hills and it will definitely translate into votes for us in the coming days,” said Dr Numal.
