Imphal: A mega ex-servicemen’s rally will be held on March 6, 2023 at Koirengei in Imphal East.

The rally is being held after a gap of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to an official, organized by the Red Shield Division of the Indian Army under the auspices of the Spear Corps, the mega ex-servicemen’s rally is aimed at paying tribute to the sacrifices of Indian Army veterans, veteran women, and widows of serving personnel from Manipur. have to do Statement

The purpose of this rally is to address all the issues related to the large number of ex-servicemen in the state of Manipur.
The statement added that in case of ex-servicemen’s grievances, concerned officials of PCDA/Record Offices will be present to facilitate resolution. On the day of the rally, CSD, ECHS Polyclinic, SBI, Axis and HDFC Banks, SPARSH, Skill Development and Social Welfare Department, RSB and ZSB, Army Postal Service, and Army Recruiting Office representatives and on-site outlets will be included.
As part of the mega event, a special medical camp involving experts from various fields has also been planned. According to the statement, philanthropic and veteran community interaction activities, including a cultural event and community lunch, will be held.

A large number of veterans from across the state are expected to attend the event and interact with state military and civilian dignitaries.
