Manipur: One injured in blast in Imphal East

Imphal: A man was injured in an explosion in Imphal East district of Manipur on Friday evening.

According to sources, the blast took place at around 8.40 am near Mahabir temple in Khurai Ahongei Tilipati area.
The injured has been identified as Sabham Prasad and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

Immediately after the incident, Imphal police reached the spot and the matter is under investigation.
Meanwhile, Wangkhei MLA Thangjam Arunkumar visited the site of the blast and also met the injured person at the hospital.
