A total of 39,767 students are taking physical exams in 192 centers across the state, according to BOSEM secretary Dr S. Mangijao Singh.

According to Singh, in addition to wearing a face mask and using a hand sanitizer, as a precautionary measure, only one student per bench will sit to maintain social distance.
The 10th class examination started at 9 am and ended at 12 noon.
Meanwhile, the Board of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) will conduct Class XII Board Examination from April 7 in 118 centers across the state.
Last year, the state government canceled the Class 10 and 12 board physical exams due to an increase in COVID-19 positive cases. Examinations were conducted through alternative assessment or evaluation method.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ann Baron Singh has extended best wishes to the students appearing for the 10th and 12th class board examinations.
“Don’t be discouraged by the questions you can’t answer. Try to give good answers to the questions that you have prepared. Remember these exams are just the bridges that are laid before you cross. You have worked hard and so let go of stress and overcome them with peace of mind and justice in action. Make it an experience to learn, because life will take you many more steps and bridges. CM Brian Singh said in his message to the students a day before the exam.
He urged parents, teachers and guardians to encourage and guide the students so that they can face the challenges with confidence.
“Be patient, understand and be kind as these little ones face their first major challenges in life. Teach them to overcome fear at every step of their lives. Once again, I pray that all our students Perform well and come out with flying colors, ”Singh added.
