Manipur: Grenade hurled at house of senior government official in Imphal

Another blast was reported from Imphal, the capital of Manipur.

Unidentified miscreants hurled a grenade at the house of a senior government official in Imphal, Manipur.

The incident took place around 9:40 pm on Sunday in Imphal, Manipur.
The residence of Panjijam Gojendra, Director, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, was targeted in Imphal East, Manipur.

A Chinese-made grenade was hurled at the house of a senior Manipur government official.
The grenade fell near the bathroom of the house.

Although the blast damaged part of the house, no casualties or damage were reported.

Earlier on June 24, miscreants targeted the residence of Manipur Agriculture Department director N. Gojendra Singh.
