Manipur: Five Freedom Fighters involved in IED blasts arrested

Imphal: Manipur: Five Freedom Fighters involved in IED blasts arrested. At least five Fighters involved in recent IED blasts in Manipur have been arrested.
These five fighters were allegedly involved in blasts in Manipur’s Imphal East and Thoubal districts.
The arrested Freedom Fighters were involved inย blasts at Telipati in Imphal East district and Khongjom Sapam in Thoubal on May 13 and May 30 respectively.
Four hand grenades have also been recovered from the possession of the arrested fighters.
The arrested fighters have been handed over to Khong Jom police station.\
The arrested fighters were also allegedly harassing non-locals in Manipur.
The fighters were arrested by the police and Assam Rifles troops after receiving a tip-off about their presence in the area.
After that, a cordon and search operation was conducted by the security forces, as a result of which he was arrested.
