Manipur: 5.6 km of India-Myanmar border fenced

The central priest said the Public authority of India and Myanmar Government will together take up the Indo-Myanmar fencing issue.

Imphal: Manipur boss pastor N Biren Singh on Tuesday said that a sum of 5.6 km of the Indo-Myanmar line fencing between line support point no.79 and 81 has been finished up to this point.

Singh, who is likewise the Head of the House, was answering to the inquiry raised by MLA K Ranjit Singh on the eighth day of the continuous second meeting of the twelfth Manipur Administrative Gathering.

The central priest expressed that while a sum of 60.023 km of fencing will be brought up by the Association back Home service, the Indo-Myanmar fencing issue will be mutually taken up by the states of India and Myanmar.
