According to reports, the rebel Shiv Sena MLA of Maharashtra will claim to form a government in Maharashtra in a meeting with the governor.
Maharashtra’s rebel Shiv Sena MLAs are believed to have the support of the BJP, the single largest party in the Maharashtra Assembly.
It is noteworthy that 40 MLAs from Maharashtra – 33 Shiv Sena MLAs and 7 independent MLAs are currently staying at Guwahati Hotel in Assam.
Rebel members of the Shiv Sena Assembly arrived in Guwahati on a chartered flight early Wednesday morning.
