
Lieutenant General Manish Erry took command of Gajraj Corps
Assam: Lt. Gen. Manish Erry took command of the Tezpur-based Gajraj Corps, which looks after the Kameng sector along the northern borders.
According to an official statement, Ari belongs to the infantry and was commissioned in JAK LI in December 1988.
He has attended Staff Course at DSSC Wellington, Higher Defense Management Course at Secunderabad, and Advanced Professional Program in Public Administration (APPPA Course) at Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.
In addition, Ari has vast experience of operations on the northern frontiers, and before assuming command of the Gajraj Corps, he served as Chief of Staff at the South Western Command in Jaipur.
He is also a recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Sena Medal, and Chief of Army Staff Appreciation Card in recognition of his professional services.
