Kohima: Kohima Press Club won the third Xavier Rutsa Memorial Trophy ,Kohima Press Club (KPC) emerged victorious in the third edition of the Xavier Rutsa Memorial Trophy, a football trophy held in memory of a senior journalist who passed away in 2018.

Rutsa was 42 when she died of a heart attack. The event is a friendly football match between the Kohima Town Club (KTC), the organizers of the ongoing Kohima Super Cup, and the Kohima Press Club (KPC). This is a tribute to former senior journalist Xavier Rutsa , who was one of the founding members of both clubs.
After a two-year hiatus, the Xavier Rutsa Memorial Trophy was played between the two clubs at the Kohima IG Stadium in Kohima after the second semi-final of the Kohima Super Cup.

Kohima Press Club won the match by two goals from Neidilhoutuo Sechü and Vincent Vimetha Mera. The first edition of the trophy was won by Kohima Town Club and the press body won the trophy for the first time.
The team consisted of journalists from various media houses including All India Radio, Doordarshan- both private and public and employees of Information and Public Relations (IPR).
