Khaba Maimon’s ‘Past the Trials’ sacks best venture tag at ‘Documentor Imphal’
The fourth release of Documenter Imphal was together coordinated by Manipur State Film Development Society and Documentary Resource Initiative.
Imphal: Curtains descended on the fourth version of ‘Documentor Imphal’ series on Saturday at the Preview Theater of MSFDS complex at Palace Gate, Imphal.
The fourth version was together coordinated by Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), and Documentary Resource Initiative (DRI). During the occasion, a sum of Rs 8 lakh in real money grants was given over to eight narrative movie producers from the state.
‘Past the Trials’, a narrative film project on outrageous game as a declaration of opportunity, by Khaba Maimon was presented the ‘Best Project’, packing the most elevated monetary reward grant of Rs 2.5 lakh.
Narratives ‘On the Crossroad’, in light of the issues facing the state in regards to the change from Bengali content to Meitei Mayek, by James Khangenbam and ‘War zone Imphal’ were given the ‘Promisingly Culturally Engaged Project’ and ‘Promisingly Socially Engaged Project’, separately, with cash grants of Rs 1.5 lakh each.
The business people, who mutually upheld the tasks, are Dr Thangjam Dhabali, MD of Babina Healthcare and Hospitality; Wahengbam Braja, craftsmanship gatherer and organizer behind Kid Foundation, a private youngster day care school; educationist Konica Khuraijam, and Radhesyam Oinam, the owner of Network Services.

The narrative movies were made during the five-day Incubation and Mentorship Lab called ‘Documentor Imphal’, together coordinated by MSFDS and DRI Kolkata. Four acclaimed narrative film coaches from India are behind the narrative tasks to give the truly necessary direction to the maturing movie producers.
