Karbi Anglong: 2 detained with pistols and ammunition in Assam
In Imphal a senior MNPF major arrested by Assam Rifles
Diphu: Two persons were detained with arms and ammunition in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district, police said on Thursday.
According to a senior officer, a 32 pistol was seized and taken into custody from a person at Dilaji near Diphu on Wednesday night.
“In another incident, we recovered a 32 pistol and a few live rounds from another person,” the officer said.
He added that the person has been arrested from Tarabasa in Dokmoka police station area.
