The All Assam Minorities Students’ Union (AAMSU) has looked for a legal investigation into the binge of “extra-legal killings” in the state.

“We ask the Chief Justice to do whatever it may take and suitable measures by requesting a legal enquiry in the whole matter and make a severe move against those at legitimate fault for disregarding the basic freedoms as ensured under the Constitution of India and for testing the Rule of Law by,” the letter added.
