National Law University of Meghalaya (NLUM) invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Vice Chancellor.

Salary: As per Meghalaya Government the post of Vice-Chancellor will have a basic pay of Rs.2,10,000/- and a special pay of Rs.5,000/- in addition to D.A. Rent-free accommodation will also be provided to the Vice Chancellor.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should be a distinguished academician with the highest qualifications, impeccable integrity, ethics and institutional commitment. The person appointed as Vice-Chancellor should be an outstanding scholar in law with published works of high quality to his credit, a professorship in a university or academic excellence in research in a reputed research and/or academic institution. Be proof of and publications nationally and internationally. The candidate must lead the university’s mission of promoting high-level teaching and research.
The person should also have the ability to promote the university nationally and internationally by building strong linkages with reputed educational institutions, central government and various state governments and industry.
