Inspection teams visit check gates in Phek, Tuli

Following the state government’s order to close the check gates, inspection teams from Phek district and Tuli sub-division visited the check gates in their respective jurisdictions.
According to the DIPR report, a Phek team formed by the Deputy Commissioner, Phek inspected all the check gates on May 23, in which Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Phek and Additional Superintendent of Police Ben . The report said that the only toll gate under Fake district was closed and removed, adding that no other gate has been set up by any department in the district.
Tuli: The inspection team under Tuli sub-division headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tuli held a meeting at ADC office, Tuli on May 24 and later inspected Watiyongpang Check Gate.
According to the DIPR report, during the visit, only the authorized gates of the Interstate Police Gate and the Forest Department were found operating and other departments including Veterinary, Geology and Mining, Motor Vehicle, and TTC Toll Gate. Like the booth collectors, they were all closed.
