Guwahati: The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under the Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to promote business at the local level among rural youth. Are

The Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP), a subsidiary scheme of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), aims to promote self-employment opportunities for unemployed rural people in rural India.

This will be accomplished through the use of integrated ICT techniques and tools for training, capacity building, business consulting services, and lending to banks, SHGs, and federations.

In the presence of Dr. Lalit Sharma, Director, IIE and Raghuvendra Pratap Singh, Director, MORD, in the presence of Rajesh Agrawal, Secretary, MORD, Anuradha Vemori, Joint Secretary, MSDE and Charanjit Singh, Joint Secretary, MORD Signed the MoU.
