New Delhi: ‘Prachanda’, the first indigenous combat helicopter, was inducted into the Indian Air Force in Jodhpur on Monday.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh attended the induction ceremony of the first indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopters (LCH).
Before handing over the light combat helicopter to the Indian Air Force, a majlis was organized in which religious gurus from all four communities were present.
After the program, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took a flight to Prachanda.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that there could be no better time than Navratri and no better place than the land of Rajasthan to induct LCH into the Air Force.
The induction of LCH will increase the strength of the Air Force. The country is proud of its indigenous technology. India’s chariot of victory is ready. He added that the LCH has faced all challenges and can easily outwit the enemies.
During the program, Singh described LCH as the chariot of victory and said that India will be the first name among the superpower countries in the coming times.
