Malda: Just days after two women’s nude parade by a mob in Manipur went viral online, another disturbing scene of two women’s semi-nude parade in West Bengal’s Malda has come to light.
According to sources, two women were stripped half-naked about three-four days ago and attacked by a mob in broad daylight. The two women were caught by local people on the suspicion of theft in Pakuahat of Malda. The mob then beat up the women and took them away.
In the alleged video, several women are shown attacking the two accused women. However, no complaint has been registered with the West Bengal Police.
Sources say that the police were unaware of the incident and came to know only after the video went viral.
According to initial reports, the two women were caught red-handed stealing and were subsequently attacked by locals, especially women shopkeepers.
The police have now started an investigation into the matter.

According to sources, a woman was also gang-raped by the mob and her brother was killed when he tried to intervene. Soon after it went viral, the video sparked outrage across the country.
The incident sparked widespread outrage across the country as political leaders and Bollywood actors took to their personal social media handles to express their shock over the incident.
