Assam: In a proud moment, Assam boy Mayur Hazarika has secured the fifth rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exams 2022.
Hailing from Tezpur, Assam, Hazarika was also a rank holder in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) examinations.
According to the official data, Ishita Kishore has topped the exam. The UPSC declared the exam results on Tuesday.
Additionally, two more youngsters from Assam, Mohammad Idul Ahmed and Manas Jyoti Das, also cracked the UPSC exam, securing 298th and 881st ranks respectively.
The UPSC CSE preliminary exam was held on 5 June 2022, with the result declared on 22 June. The mains exam was held from 16 to 25 September, and the results were declared on 6 December.
Meanwhile, the personal interviews ended on May 18.
All candidates recommended for appointment to – Indian Administrative Service (IAS); Indian Foreign Service (IFS); Indian Police Service (IPS); Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
