In tragic accident TMNL president, Assistant General Secy killed
Imphal: In a tragic road accident near Shingcha Junction, two prominent leaders of the Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL) lost their lives on Thursday morning. The deceased have been identified as TMNL President Themmaso Tallanao and Masothing, Assistant General Secretary TMNL.
As per reliable sources, the accident occurred along the Ukhrul-Kamjong State Road, about 45 kilometers from Ukhrul town.
The vehicle, in which all three were traveling, crashed near the junction, leaving both the TMNL (Tangkhul Youth Council) leaders fatally injured.
The driver, who sustained severe leg injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. The loss of the two leaders has sent shockwaves through the Tangkhul community, with many expressing grief and offering condolences to the families of the victims.
