
In Sonitpur more than 46 freedom-fighters of AANLA surrenderd
Guwahati: Upwards of 46 freedom-fighters and units of the All Adivasi Public Freedom Armed force (AANLA) gave up in Assam’s Sonitpur locale on Sunday, authorities said.
As per the authority, the ex-aggressors gave over weapons to top region cops including the Extra Administrator of Police (Wrongdoing) and Delegate Director of Police (Line) in Dhekiajuli.
In the interim, the weapons gathered incorporate eight guns, six rifles and ammo, the authority added.
As per sources, AANLA president’D Nayak was likewise present on the event who had previously given up.
AANLA was among the eight Assam-based ancestral aggressor associations that marked an international agreement with the public authority on 15 September 2022 in New Delhi within the sight of Association Home Pastor Amit Shah and Assam Boss Clergyman Himanta Biswa Sarma.
