In Smit powerful bomb blast rocks house, one killed

Smit: A house was rocked by a loud explosion in Smit village under Madanrting police station in Meghalaya, killing one person. The incident took place on July 3 around 12 noon.

The victim, identified as Pynsuklang Khongwir, a 35-year-old resident of the village, lost his life in the devastating blast.
Preliminary results from the investigation indicate that the deceased had undergone spinal surgery two months ago and was confined to bed rest.

Relatives revealed that Pynsuklang Khongwir had previously attempted suicide twice, highlighting his fragile mental state.
As a result of the incident, a case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to uncover the circumstances that led to the explosion.
