
In Nagaon a BSF jawan commits suicide over Family dispute
Nagaon: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan committed suicide in Assam’s Nagaon district on Monday morning due to a family dispute.
According to sources, the incident took place in Kampur, where the youth, identified as Sanjeeb Lashkar, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan inside his room.
Lashkar’s family alleged that for several days there was a personal dispute between him and his wife Sweetiy Raja Lashkar, due to which she had been staying away from them at her maternal house in Jajri area for a long time.
The two got married 15 years ago and are parents to one child.
Meanwhile, the police reached the spot and made arrangements for the post-mortem.
Earlier today, the body of a married woman was found under mysterious circumstances in Assam’s Cachar district.
The woman’s husband and in-laws were allegedly torturing her for several months.
The family of the deceased alleged that her husband and in-laws were harassing her for dowry and claimed that she was murdered.
It was alleged that it was a premeditated murder and the husband’s family tried to frame it as suicide.
After the incident, the accused family escaped.
