
In Miao Assam Rifles gun down suspected militant of NSCN
Itanagar: On the night of September 13, a fierce clash took place between the Assam Rifles and the militant outfit NSCN in Miao district of Arunachal Pradesh.
An armed militant was killed during the exchange of fire, which resulted in two armed militants firing on a patrolling group of security personnel during a routine patrol, which was met with retaliatory fire, killed by the Assam Rifles according to sources.
Sources also claimed that one militant was killed in the encounter while the other managed to escape and is still at large.
