Shillong: Unaccounted money of over Rs 10 lakh has been seized from four individuals in survey bound of Meghalaya in South West Garo Slopes locale, Boss Electing Official F R Kharkongor said.
The money seizure was made by flying crew authorities in the area, the Chief said, adding that so far unaccounted money of over Rs 20 lakh was recuperated in the state.
“Flying crews have held onto Rs 10.35 lakh cash from the ownership of four people… ,” the President said.
The seizure was made after the four individuals couldn’t deliver any legitimate archive for conveying the money, yet “nobody was captured”, he referenced.
Their cases are “being scrutinized”, he said.
Decisions to the 60-part Meghalaya Gathering will be hung on February 27 and the model set of rules is in force in the state.
