In MasterChef India23 Nambie Marak of secures 12th position

Shillong: Meghalaya’s Nambie Jessica Marak has made it to the top 12 of MasterChef India 2023.

Nambie, who is known for his YouTube channel ‘Eat Your Kappa’ dedicated to the cuisine and culture of the North East, is now quite popular on the national culinary stage.
Nambie’s culinary journey is based on “Kappa”, a Garo cooking method known for its distinctive flavors.
Even after moving to Chennai for her higher studies and work commitments, she continued to yearn for the Northeast flavors that were an integral part of her upbringing.
Taking to her social media page, Marak shared the news with the words, “Embracing my roots, I am cooking dreams. I am extremely proud to be a tribal chef.
