In Maligaon A 12 years girl die after being hit with army truck

Guwahati: A class VII student of Maligaon’s Railway High School was hit by an army truck and died on the spot. The 12-year-old girl was going to school with her father on a scooter at 8.50 am.

The truck collided with his scooter when he was taking a right turn at gate number 3 of her school. She was declared brought dead after being rushed to the nearby Swagat Hospital.
According to Jalukbari station police officials, the others, including two army personnel, did not try to escape and are currently in the custody of Jalukbari police station. The truck has also been impounded and is in the custody of Jalukbari police station.
