
In Guwahati three held in connection with murder of Koinadhora
Guwahati: Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the Koinadhora murder case in Assam’s Guwahati.
According to reports, the Guwahati Police Crime Branch arrested the suspects on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Sourabh Goenka, Govinda Kumar and Arvinda Roy.
The police also seized a motorcycle allegedly used by the accused.
The police said that the three suspects involved in the murder had bought the murder weapon, a pistol, from Bihar.
Police also seized seven mobile phones.
The victim, Anjan Nath, was shot by unknown persons at Koinadhora in Assam’s Guwahati on Thursday evening and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The youth, identified as Anjan Nath, a resident of Latakata area, reportedly died at Metro Hospital.
The youth was allegedly shot in the chest.
According to the police, the young man suspects that the ex-husband of the woman with whom he was in a relationship killed him.
However, the entire incident is being investigated by the police with the arrest of the three.
