In Guwahati one arrested with fake currency notes of 5 lakh

Guwahati: Barpeta police in Assam busted a fake currency uproar and arrested an alleged money launderer with fake notes worth Rs 5 lakh.

The accused has been identified as Mustafizur Rahma.
He was arrested near Shawpur Petrol Pump in Kolgachia.
Police said that the accused was going from Holi to Abhaypuri to deliver fake currency notes.

Rehman, who is a businessman, is alleged to have been involved in illegal trade for some time.
The police are now investigating the matter further to uncover the network of fake currency smugglers in the state.
