In Goalpara massive fire destroys seven houses and property of lac

Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Dalgoma of Assam’s Goalpara on Wednesday morning, gutting seven houses and property worth lakhs.

It is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in a house.

As the houses were mostly made of bamboo and wood, the fire quickly spread to other houses in the area.
The locals swung into action and managed to put out the fire before it spread further.

Fortunately, there were no injuries or casualties in the incident.
The fire has displaced many families who have lost their homes and belongings.

The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
