
In front of BJP office, AAP protesters chant 'Adani Modi bhai bhai'
GUWAHATI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists, workers and supporters in Assam staged a protest in front of the BJP office in Guwahati on Sunday (February 12).
The protest called by AAP in Assam’s Guwahati was over “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s relationship with under-fire businessman Gautam Adani”.
Protesters gathered outside the BJP office in Guwahati, Assam, shouting slogans like “Adani Modi bhai bhai”.
Several workers of Assam AAP were detained by the police from the protest site.
Specially , the protest by AAP workers in Assam came on a day when the party staged protests in various states and demanded a probe into the allegations levelled against the Adani Group by Hindenburg Research.
In Delhi, your workers, led by Gopal Roy, assembled outside the BJP headquarters and staged a massive demonstration.
US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research recently released a 100-page report accusing the Adani Group of stock manipulation, poor governance and the “biggest failure in corporate history”.
