Dimapur: Rain brought relief from the scorching heat on Sunday but several low-lying areas reported waterlogging in Nagaland’s commercial hub Dimapur, official sources said.
Sources from the District Disaster Management Authority said waterlogging was reported from various parts of the city including Burma Camp, D Colony, Kuda Village, Naga Shopping Arcade, Zeliangrong Colony and Netaji Colony.
In some areas, water also entered many houses. He said that the private bus station behind the Dimapur Town Hall was also completely submerged in water.
