
In Dhubri police held suspected member of Ansarullah Bangla
Assam: According to sources, the Assam Police detained a suspected member of the Al-Qaeda-linked Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) in Dhubri district on May 2.
The suspected ABT member has been identified as Nazrul Islam, a resident of Sastra Ghat, P-III, on the western side of Dhubri, near the international border with Bangladesh.
According to initial reports, the ABT member was detained on April 24 after receiving clues from earlier arrested alleged ABT members, who were arrested and taken into police custody for questioning.
In an earlier case, the police had received an indication that the suspected arrested ABT members had a history of financial dealings with previously arrested ABT members in Barpeta, Goalpara, Morigaon, Dhubri, etc. across India. From the states.
