In Dhubri a businessman shot dead by unknown miscreants

Guwahati: A businessman was allegedly shot dead over a financial dispute in Bilasipara of Assam’s Dhubri district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Baser Ali, who is reportedly well-known in the area.

He was allegedly shot by the assailants at point-blank range.
He died near Bhairabganj area of ​​Bilasipara and died before any medical help could arrive.

The accused fled from the spot after shooting him dead.
The police have detained three people in connection with the shooting and started the investigation.

While the exact reason is still unknown, it is claimed to be a financial dispute.

Police have recovered empty cartridges from the spot and are searching for the murder weapon.
