In Churachandpur massive fire broke out, no injures reported

Imphal: A massive fire broke out in a residential building in Songdai village of Manipur’s Churachandpur district on Sunday night, official sources said on Monday.

The fire broke out around 8 p.m. on Sunday, they destroyed several items inside the building including desks, chairs, cupboards, desks, benches, household items and other important books. No injuries have been reported yet.
On receiving the information, the Assam Rifles working under IGAR (South) responded promptly and the fire fighting team immediately swung into action with all necessary equipment.

A press statement from the defense wing said that three fire tenders were used in the service.
Assam Rifles team succeeded in saving more than 47 lives. They doused the fire in the storage area.

Meanwhile, police and fire services sources said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
