In Biswanath district of Assam man stabs wife to death

Guwahati: A man has been arrested for stabbing his wife to death in Baswanath district of Assam. The accused has been identified as Khageswar Swargiary.

He allegedly stabbed his wife Rita Swargiary to death due to a family dispute.

However, the exact reason is not yet known.
Police said the family belonged to Baswanath’s Sootea.

The exact reason for the murder is not known and it is suspected to be a long-pending family feud.
The murder is being seen from all angles.

Earlier on Saturday, a man hacked his wife and daughter to death with an ax in Assam’s Barpeta.

According to reports, the accused has been identified as Rishabh Das, who strangled his wife and daughter due to a family dispute.
Sources said that Rishabh Das, a resident of Gandhinagar area, allegedly attacked his wife Binita Das and daughter Hiya Das with an ax and they died on the spot.

Eyewitnesses say that the incident took place due to some family problems.

Barpeta police reached the spot and immediately arrested the accused and started investigation.
