In Baghbor MLA Sherman abuses his personnel security

Assam: Things turned tense in Baghbor, Assam on May 17 after a video of MLA Sherman Ali abusing security personnel and using foul language went viral.

MLA Sherman Ali allegedly abused the security personnel for allegedly not performing their duties properly and not following their orders.
According to sources, Sherman Ali lost his cool when the Mandal Congress president of Baghmara under Barpeta district demanded payment from Congress workers for the work done in the previous assembly.

It is learned that in the last assembly elections, Mandal Congress president of Baghmaras of Barpeta district, Jinnah Rezzakul Alam, said that he had spent Rs 2 lakh during the election.
A tense situation erupted after MLA Sherman Ali Ahmed inaugurated a panchayat hall in Baghmara Char on the southern edge of Barpeta district on May 17.
After the last two years, the Mandal Congress president today asked the MLA for the money he was supposed to receive and ordered his security personnel to shoot the leader on camera.
The MLA lost his cool when the bodyguard did not follow his orders and was abused.
A section of local people were angry with the MLA for using such indecent language and misbehaving in a public area.
