In Assam, NE heavy rainfall expected forecast by IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast rain activity in Guwahati along with other parts of the states for the next five days.
It comes after heavy to very heavy rain on Sunday night along with parts of Nalbari, Dhimaji, Rangia, Nagaon, Nagarbera, Tezpur, Mangaldai along with Guwahati city.
According to an IMD report, the weather conditions in Guwahati city on May 1 are likely to remain cloudy with one or two showers or thundershowers on Monday (May 1) at many places in Assam and Meghalaya and some places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Without further changes, weather conditions in Guwahati on Tuesday will remain generally cloudy with one or two showers or thundershowers.

On Wednesday, Guwahati city will witness partly cloudy skies with one or two spells of rain or thundershower.
The sky will remain partly cloudy in the city on Thursday with chances of thundershowers.

Guwahati will have partly cloudy skies with rain or thundershowers on Friday and Saturday.
On the other hand, the IMD had said that light to moderate rain activity will occur at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura from Tuesday to Friday this week.
