In Assam Nagaon an earthquake of magnitude 4 hit on Sunday

Guwahati: On Sunday (February 12), several parts of Assam were hit by a magnitude 4 earthquake.

No loss of life or property was reported in the incident.
The earthquake in Assam was recorded at 4:18 pm.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Nagaon district of Assam.
The epicenter of the earthquake was on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra river in Assam.

This development has been confirmed by the National Center for Seismology in a report.
The depth of the earthquake that hit Assam on Sunday was only 10 km.

The epicenter of the earthquake was near Hojai in Nagaon district of Assam, 160 km east of Guwahati.
Earthquake tremors were felt in Karbi Anglong, Golaghat and Morigaon districts of Assam.
