Kohima: The Naga National Council/Federal Government of Nagaland (NNC/FGN) has validated the impeachment of Brigadier (Retd) S Singnya as Kedahge (President) NNC/FGN on October 21 during an Emergency Tatar Hoho.
The impeachment was “duly executed in accordance with the provisions enshrined in the Yehzabo of Nagaland,” resolved a meeting of the NNC/FGN Sumi Region held in Dimapur on October 31 to address the ongoing political crisis within the FGN.
According to a press release from Deputy Secretary, NNC/FGN Sessional Secretary Akuto Zhimo and Acting Midan Peyu, NNC/FGN, Atoshe Tuccu, the meeting also unanimously adopted that the elections of Zhopra Vero as Kedahge, NNC/FGN, and Hekhuvi Achumi as Kedallo, NNC/FGN, held on October 22, 2024, during the Tatar Hoho, “were conducted in full compliance with the provisions of the Yehzabo of Nagaland.”

The NNC/FGN Sumi Region reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the principles, values, and directives established within the Yehzabo of Nagaland.
