Dibrugarh: CID of Assam Police and Dibrugarh Police have picked up seven students from Dibrugarh in connection with the HSLC question paper leak case.
Sources said that all the students are from private schools in Dibrugarh. The police picked up the students from their residence at midnight.
“The principal of a private school also inquired,” said a source.
“General Science (C3) reference paper leak case of HSLC examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Assam – 22 persons detained from Guwahati, North Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Sadiya, Dibrugarh and Tinsukia Further legal action is being taken against them as per law,” Assam DGP GP Singh tweeted.
Singh further tweeted, “We are determined to expose the question paper leak and the network of conspirators.
Speaking to reporters, Dibrugarh SP Shwetank Mishra said, “We have picked up some students from Salt Brook School in connection with the HSLC question paper leak. We have received evidence from the students and they We have been given many leads in the case. We are investigating the matter.”
