Gogoi said BJP party will sink in Tripura election like boat

Agartala: Claiming that the sinking image of the BJP has been cleared, Congress deputy leader and MP Gaurav Gogoi in the Lok Sabha has alleged that the saffron party is pressurizing the state elections and the police administration to win the elections.

Addressing a press conference at the Pradesh Congress Bhawan, Gogoi said that the picture of BJP’s boat sinking is clear and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are reaching the state to save the boat.
“First, the BJP thought that by threatening and attacking the voters of Tripura, by attacking the opposition of the party workers, they would form the government again. But I want to congratulate the people that they have decided to sink the BJP boat in this election without any fear. Despite the power of violence, muscle and money, people have decided to oust the BJP”, claimed Gaurav.
Gaurav has alleged that as the BJP has already realized that the party cannot win elections using money and power, the party is putting pressure on the state election machinery and police administration.
“BJP cannot win this election by using muscle and money power so they are bringing in PM and HM who are not working either. So now they are trying to create pressure on government officials, election officials and police administration so that they cannot perform their duties which is a new conspiracy of BJP”, said Gogoi.
However, he alleged that late on February 11, Home Minister Shah met the state election and police officer.
“What is the reason? If there is a meeting, they can do it in official time. So that the media can also come and ask questions. The meeting has clearly indicated that they are putting pressure on the state election officials and the police. If they If they think they can win this election like this, it will be a big mistake”, Gogoi said as people of Tripura look forward to exercising their franchise on February 16 in favor of CPIM and Congress.
“We want to tell the BJP that their plan will not work here and tell the police and election officials that they have taken a pledge to save democracy and the people and the media depend on them. I am sure that They will do their duty. BJP is resorting to violence to win elections. All BJP tactics will not work as their ship will sink now”, Gogoi told the All India Congress in New Delhi. A delegation of the committee will meet the Election Commission of India on the overall situation in Tripura.
