
GOC of Army 4 Crops briefs Governor about security situation
Itanagar: General Officer Commanding, 4 Corps, Tezpur, Lt Gen Manish Erry, AVSM, SM to Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Lt Gen KT Paranaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd) Met at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 31st May, 2023.
They discussed issues related to national security, securing the situation along the border by the troops of 4 Corps and civil-military relations.
The Governor, who was the Corps Commander of 4 Corps in 2009, congratulated the new GOC 4 Corps on taking charge of the corps. He expressed his confidence in the security preparedness of the troops of 4 Corps maintaining peace and security along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Sharing his experience, the governor advised the GOC on the need for border security and collaborative development between the security forces and villages mobilized near the border.
The governor stressed on good civil-military relations to strengthen the border areas. He emphasized on civilian initiatives of goodwill by armed forces in remote rural and remote areas.
The GOC assured his best efforts to strengthen the existing civil-military relations in Arunachal Pradesh.
