From Oct 6-7 Kohima district to host futsal tournament
KOHIMA: The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) is scheduled to host the second edition of the District Futsal Championship from October 6 to 7.
KDFA President Mhasimhalie Matthew Yhome said that the winner of the tournament will represent the district in the upcoming Nagaland Futsal Championship, apart from receiving a trophy and a citation along with a cash prize of Rs 30,000.
The event will be held at Nyatho Sports Khikha, Kohima. The runner-up team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with a trophy and citation.
The entry fee for the tournament will be Rs 3000 per person. According to the protocol, only registered players of KDFA will be eligible to participate in the championship.
The third phase of KDFA player registration is open and on-spot registration will be done.
